For those who have enjoyed dining with us at The Tasting Room beneath SKY Armory in Downtown Syracuse, you’re probably familiar with our focus on artisanal cuisine, expertly crafted cocktails, and an exceptional selection of wines and whiskeys. The Tasting Room has been a place where we could share our love for gourmet food and drinks with the community—something that started alongside our event venue, SKY Armory.
Recently, we made the decision to close our restaurant’s doors to the public, but instead of bidding farewell, we’ve taken a new direction. We’re reimagining how we can continue sharing our passion for food in a way that better suits the constantly evolving scene of Downtown Syracuse.
Through the years, we’ve had the privilege of hosting countless wine and whiskey tastings, themed dinners, Broadway pre-theatre events, and curated cuisine tasting evenings. These experiences showed us just how much we love bringing people together over exceptional food and drinks. It also made us realize that the events we’ve hosted are a key part of our mission. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of The Tasting Room @ SKY Armory as a pop-up restaurant.
The pop-up format allows us to do what we love most—create custom menus tailored to each specific event. These menus will be thoughtfully created to give you a unique dining experience every time. This new direction share our creativity and passion for great food and drinks.
The Tasting Room @ SKY Armory will be “popping up” for a variety of events, including:
Broadway in Syracuse Pre-Theatre Dining (available Tuesday through Saturday)
Monthly Wine and Whiskey Pairing Dinners
And more special events to come!
We’re excited to embark on this new journey and can’t wait to have you join us at one of our upcoming events.
Our first pop-up dates are:
January 28th - February 1st (Tina - Broadway in Syracuse pre-theatre dining)
February 14th (Valentine’s Day Dinner)
Reservations can be made via OpenTable or through our website.
P.S. The Tasting Room is also available for private events at SKY Armory during days that we're not popping up. It’s the perfect space for intimate dinners, pharmaceutical dinners, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners, and even post-wedding brunches. If you're looking for a unique setting for your next special event, we'd love to host you.
